Next Topic, Heuristics -- for June 16

Heuristics (rules of thumb, problem solving approaches, steps, refinement)

With the use of heuristics anybody can think like a philosopher!

[G]eneralisable, all-purpose techniques for the proper conduct of thought, whatever the topic ... can be utilised by non-philosophers too.

Next Topic -- for June 9

In our excellent first summer meeting, we opened the can of worms labeled "Epistemology."  As has happened previously, our talk led us to Bloom's Taxonomy.  We saw that there are many different ways of looking at this collection of ideas, so we decided to make BT itself the next topic.
