Next Week's Topic
What phrase or phrases, person or persons helped shape your philosophy early in life? And as you matured in later life?
We are asking everyone to bring at least one example, perhaps a phrase, so that each person in turn can add input if they wish.

Next Meeting
Greetings to members in the Lifelong Philosophy SIG -- OLLI at UK. Our next meeting will be September 22 from 9:45-11:45 am at the Eastside Branch of the Lexington Public Library. We will be in one of the meeting rooms on the second floor. From either entrance, go toward the children's books for the elevator or stairs.
In this meeting, Mary Fran Soulis will be facilitating in my absence. Gary Adamson will handle the AV. The topic will be sharing from the past week what people, places, things, and events may have prompted philosophical refections for you.
Also, before you leave, make sure to pick a topic for September 29. I should have posted your inputs from last week's template by then.
Be sure to check the SIG's web site for up-to-date info. This web page can be found at https://reasonockhammencken.blogspot.com

Wednesday, September 13, 2017
We will be meeting again this Friday, September 15. We will meet, as usual at the Eastside Branch of the Lexington Public Library. The meeting room will be on the 2nd floor. Look for notices next to each meeting room door for our exact location. We will convene from 9:45am until 11:45am.
As discussed at our previous meeting, the topic this time will be a) devising a mission statement for our SIG, and b) identifying methods and content for upcoming meetings.
