Twitter
I ran across this article today, and to me, it provided an interesting alternate (not adversarial) view of the Twitter phenomenon. Maybe we can consider some of the points made, at our next meeting, April 8th.
Here is a link to South Park's views about internet bullying. Twitter is not for the faint of heart. Thicker skins are needed in our society. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXQkXXBqj_U Interestingly, I have noticed a pattern on my Facebook page that those folks who post strong ideology opinions are typically ignored by the greater Facebook population, getting few likes or comments. Facebook debate is pointless. In my opinion Facebook is about getting as many "Likes" as possible. The negativity is filtered by indifference. I can't speak to Twitter.
