This may be a bit off the wall but how about a discussion on the relative roles that the Human Senses (Sight. Hearing Taste Smell Touch (and the mysterious other??)) are playing today, played in the past and will play in the future. Are we being systematically desensitized as a species? Use it or Lose it!? Does it matter?

I find this a very interesting topic. I took a few courses from Dr. Graves in the 60's. Be sure to click on the link to his "Levels of Existence" chart that is offered on page 2 of the article. There is also a Clare W. Graves website which gives bio background as well.
